Designed in 1993, the Merdolino toilet brush perfectly represents the ironic and irreverent language that characterized Stefano Giovannoni's projects in the 90s. The author tackles the design of an object that is as indispensable as it is forgotten by traditional design: the toilet brush transforms into a cute little vase from which a long shrub sprouts. An object that scandalized the design right-thinking people and was a great success with the public from its debut.
