A touch of refined lightness
Designed by Michele De Lucchi and launched in 2018, the Plissé electric kettle was the first item in the successful Alessi collection of the same name. Dedicated to those who appreciate timeless works of design, art and fashion, the iconic pleated surface is recognisable at first sight. More than a kettle, it resembles a haute couture dress, a display object inspired by the visual codes of haute couture, a style icon that completes any environment with unexpected sophistication.
Functionality
The kettle switches off automatically to avoid overheating and the removable filter ensures the purity of the water. The cord wraps around the base to keep the countertop tidy.
Design
The peculiarity of the Plissé kettle is its unique workmanship, inspired by that of pleated fabrics. An aesthetic shape that does not exclude functionality and practicality: the heating system brings the water immediately to the boiling point, to pour it just lift the body from the base.
